Humboldt County Heroes Luncheon

Honoring ordinary people in our community who have committed extraordinary acts.

Each year, the Humboldt County Chapter of the American Red Cross asks the community who their heroes are.

People from Garberville to Orick, and from Willow Creek to Eureka nominate men, women and children among us who have done something incredible. Many are honored because they have saved lives. Others are honored because they have helped others in extraordinary ways. Many are trained professionals; others are neighbors, friends and ordinary people willing to go to the extra mile when help is needed.

Helping others in times of need is the cornerstone of the Red Cross mission.
