How does the Red Cross benefit our community?

The primary goals of the Humboldt County Chapter are education, preparedness and disaster response. Towards the education goals, we offer a number of classes every month. To further the goal of preparing our community for disaster response, local volunteers put together and maintain all the supplies needed to create a shelter in times of disaster.

Red Cross offers swimming lessons in a lot of places. What does the Humboldt County Chapter have to offer?

We do not have our own swimming pool. However, we do train, certify and monitor water safety instructors and lifeguards to ensure the safety of your children. For swimming lessons, contact your local pool. Be sure to ask if they have Red Cross certified instructors and lifeguards.
